NPA Inaugural Course

The NeuroPoint Alliance (NPA) will host its inaugural course, The NeuroPoint Alliance and Your Practice: Using Registries to Enhance Quality, Reimbursement, Certification and Clinical Research, at the 2018 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting in New Orleans on Sunday, April 29. This course is designed to demonstrate various ways in which your organization can benefit from participating in NPA clinical registries, such as the spine and neurovascular Quality Outcomes Database (QOD), the Registry for the Advancement of DBS Therapy in Parkinson’s Disease (RAD-PD) and the Stereotactic Radiosurgery Registry (SRS). Neurosurgeons, quality managers, clinical personnel and data coordinators will benefit from this course.

The morning sessions will explore how clinical registries are used to enhance business – as a research platform and quality improvement tool, in Board Certification and Maintenance of Certification as well as to improve data collection and analysis. The afternoon is dedicated to breakout sessions with colleagues to further explore these topics.
