Football Legend Willie Brown to Participate in Sports Neurotrauma Symposium at the 2000 American Association of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meeting


WHO:Willie Brown, 1984 Football Hall of Fame Inductee and Assistant Coach of the Oakland Raiders, joins members of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons as a panelist for a Sports Neurotrauma Symposium.

WHAT:Sports Neurotrauma Symposium featuring football legend, Willie Brown, will educate AANS members about the long-term assessment and management of sports-related head and spinal cord injuries, with an emphasis on return-to-play guidelines. The panelists will also differentiate between return-to-play eligibility guidelines applied to high school, collegiate and professional athletes.
