The AANS is pleased to welcome media representatives to the 72nd Annual Meeting

Media Registration
To register for the AANS Annual Meeting, contact the AANS Communications Department prior to the meeting or visit the press room on-site. Press credentials or proper identification must be presented to AANS staff to receive a registration badge and materials. Press badges are available to working press whose attendance at the meeting results in media coverage of AANS, AANS members or the field of neurosurgery, in print or broadcast media.

For press credentials, contact Heather Monroe, AANS Director of Communications ph: (847) 378 0517, or call the Annual Meeting Press Room beginning Monday, May 3, at (407) 685-5408.

Entry Into AANS Scientific Sessions
Entry into any sessions must be approved prior to the session by registering with the AANS Communications Staff in Room 333 (Gallery Room) of the Orlando Convention Center.

Entry Into AANS Exhibit Hall
Admittance into the Exhibit Hall is not permitted by media representatives, unless accompanied by a member of the AANS Communications staff.

Press Room Hours
Press room hours (Ph: 407/685-5408) for the AANS Annual Meeting will be Monday, May 3 to Wednesday, May 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Room 333 (Gallery Room) of the Orlando Convention Center.

Media Materials
The 2004 AANS Annual Meeting press kit including press releases and fact sheets on several neurosurgical procedures, is located in the Media Center Section of the AANS public Web site at: www.NeurosurgeryToday.org/media. The entire AANS annual meeting program also is available online at: www.AANS.org/annual/2004.

Arranging Interviews
To arrange an interview with an AANS member, speak with the AANS Communications Department to make arrangements. The AANS Communications Department can assist you with story ideas and working with the doctors. AANS can also provide you with additional background materials on a wide variety of neurosurgery-focused topics.

Press Room Access
Exhibitors participating in the AANS Annual Meeting do not have access to the press room. AANS does not endorse individual companies or their products. Therefore, no exhibitor material is accepted for distribution in the press room. The AANS does not distribute its media attendee list.
