Doris Kearns Goodwin to Speak at the American Association Of Neurological Surgeons 68th Annual Meeting

WHO: Doris Kearns Goodwin - Acclaimed historian, Pulitzer Prize winning author and former Harvard professor.

WHAT: Will serve as the 2000 Cushing Orator at the 68th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.

For more than 30 years, the AANS has sponsored the Cushing Oration, named for Harvey Cushing, MD, universally recognized as the Father of Modern Neurosurgery. Former Cushing Orators include former president George H.W. Bush, H. Ross Perot, General Colin Powell, Wernher von Braun and former president Jimmy Carter.

WHEN: Tuesday, April 11 from 12:10-1 p.m.

WHERE: Moscone Convention Center 747 Howard Street San Francisco, California 94103

The Annual Meeting Press Room, located in room 266 of the Moscone Convention Center, will be open April 9 from 8:30 am 3 pm, and April 10-12 from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
