AANS International Reception
Join leaders from the AANS and international neurosurgical organizations, along with special dignitaries, at the New Orleans Museum of (NOMA) for the 2018 AANS International Reception. Attend for an evening of conversation, refreshments and hors d'oeuvres. Opened in 1911 with only nine works of art, NOMA is New Orleans’ oldest fine arts institution. Today, the museum hosts an impressive permanent collection of almost 40,000 objects. NOMA is one of the top art museums in the south, noted for its extraordinary French and American art, photography and glass, as well as African and Japanese works and continues to expand and grow its collection.

Roundtrip shuttle bus transportation from the headquarter hotel, New Orleans Marriott, will be provided for the International Reception.
All backpacks, computer bags and camera bags over 11 x 15 x 5, plus umbrellas, must be checked at the coat check room. Cameras without tripods or flashes are permitted in the permanent collection galleries. Video cameras are not permitted. No objects in special exhibition galleries or on loan may be photographed.
