. 2008 AANS Annual Meeting Online Courses: Over 50 hours of meeting content will be captured and streamed online post meeting. Attendees can save over $100 by pre-ordering or ordering the annual meeting online sessions onsite. Plenary sessions, scientific sessions, section sessions and select breakfast seminars will be available. $185 for AANS Members and $195 for non-members, the price increases over $100 after the meeting.

The case studies serve as a repository for neurosurgical cases that offer the variation in disease presentation and management within neurosurgical practice. NEUROSURGERY RESEARCH AND EDUCATION FOUNDATION (NREF)
The NREF has continued to ensure the viability and expansion of the field of neurological surgery, based on fundamental research in the basic sciences and clinical enterprises pertinent to neurosurgery. Through support by the neurosurgical community, the NREF has stimulated learning by neurosurgeons and enhanced educational opportunities throughout their careers. Over the past 26 years, the Foundation has established two grant programs to fulfill this need. The Research Fellowship provides research training for neurosurgeons who are preparing to dedicate their futures to the research and application of new scientific knowledge. The Research Fellowship is a two-year grant for $70,000 or a one-year grant of $40,000. The one year Young Clinician Investigator Award (YCI) is a $40,000 grant, which provides young faculty members funding for pilot studies, which enables them to develop preliminary data to support applications for more permanent funding. All proceeds from the Tenth Annual Silent Auction benefit the Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation (NREF) and the Research Fellowships and Young Clinician Investigator Awards they support. Once again, the NREF will be utilizing the services of
C-Market, an online auction provider. This service offers bidders convenient options for placing their bids be it online from their hotel rooms, from a PDA or at a computer at the auction site.

AANS ONLINE CAREER CENTER
A great source for open neurosurgical positions from across the country, the AANS Online Career Center is a free benefit to AANS members. The AANS Online Career Center has launched several exciting new features for job seekers, including a new Résumé Builder feature and the ability to create your own personalized employment Web site. Résumé Builder includes the ability to customize your professional résumé, including specific fonts, colors and content. The new "My Site" section allows you to easily build your own password protected Web site, including a home page, photo, résumé, references and the ability to upload articles you've written or published. Your site will have its own unique Web address that you can provide to anyone you wish, including potential employers. Also, take advantage of the "My Work Style" feature that enables members to use the state-of-the-art self evaluation tool designed to provide an evaluation of your own unique work style. This new feature identifi es optimal work environments and provides guidance on how to use the information to advance your career.
