the San Diego Convention Center, including
the exhibit hall, and all the meeting rooms

designated parking and services for the sight

Registered spouses and guests are invited to
relax, visit with friends, enjoy refreshments,
and wait for tour departures in the AANS
Spouse/Guest Hospitality Suite. Meet new
friends and greet longtime acquaintances.
The Spouse/Guest Hospitality Suite will be
located in the San Diego Marriott Hotel &
Marina. Complimentary continental
breakfast will be served each morning from
7:30-10:00 AM. Beverages will be available
throughout the day. The suite will be open

NO SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not permitted at any official
AANS event. Additionally, the state of
California does not permit smoking in
any public building, including restaurants
and bars.
INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL
INFORMATION
Meeting attendees traveling to San Diego,
CA from countries requiring visas in
addition to a passport, should take advantage
of the opportunity to register and make
hotel and travel arrangements early. After
registering for the meeting, you will receive a
confirmation notice that can serve as
documentation to be submitted with your
visa application. Should you require a letter

and allow two to three months for visa
processing to ensure that you don’t miss the

ATTENTION ALL INTERNATIONAL
TRAVELERS NEW REQUIREMENTS
International travelers to the U.S. from
countries in the Visa Waiver Program must
apply for entry online as part of the new
Electronic System for Travel Authorization,
effective January 12, 2009. The program does
not apply to travelers entering by land from
Canada or Mexico. The authorization is valid
for two years or until your passport expires,
whichever comes first. Note, authorization
does not guarantee entry into the U.S.; that
decision rests with the immigration official
