A specially designed full-day course for senior residents and fellows, incorporating the ACGME milestones and taught by leadership of the Society of Neurosurgical Surgery (SNS) as the final course in the SNS continuum of resident education. The curriculum will cover socioeconomic topics needed by senior residents to be personally and professionally successful as they transition out of residency into clinical practice. Topics include career decision-making, building a neurosurgical team, incorporating APPs, managing outpatient centers, medical billing, personal financial management and staying out of trouble. Added sessions will showcase new surgical technologies, plus case-based discussions.
