Welcome to the Neurosurgical Online Learning Sessions developed by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and the Society of Neurological Surgeons (SNS). The organizations introduced these sessions as convenient, easily accessible courses in the core cognitive curriculum of neurosurgery. Developed principally for resident education, they are also a valuable learning tool for physician assistants, nurses, or any neurosurgeon looking to review areas they might not see regularly in their practice. Each free online session runs thirty minutes to one hour. These courses are available to AANS and SNS members only and are eligible for 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit TM

After completing the online course, each participant enters an evaluation area to test his or her knowledge of what they have learned. Training program directors and neurosurgical department directors can access the results for their residents. Residents can also print report results to turn into their director. Learn More
