General Information for All Programs including Registration, Cancellation & Refund Policies Registration Policy Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. All registrants will receive a letter of confirmation from the AANS within 21 days of receipt of their registration. Should you fail to receive a letter of confirmation prior to departure, please contact the Department of Education and Practice Management at the AANS. Do not make travel arrangements prior to receiving a letter of confirmation. As courses sell out months in advance, please register early. A late fee of $75.00 will be added to registrations received less than 14 days before a scheduled course. Date of postmark does not indicate date of receipt. If paying by check or money order, please make payable to the AANS and mail your registration form to: AANS, Dept. 77-2370, Chicago, IL 60678-2370.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellation, substitution, or transfer to another course is allowed if written notification is received 30 days prior to a scheduled course for a processing fee of $50.00. Thereafter, a $100.00 processing fee is withheld from your registration. Registration refunds or transfers will not be granted for cancellations within 30 days of the course unless the vacated enrollment is resold. Send or fax written cancellation, substitution, or transfer requests to: AANS, Dept. of Education and Practice Management, 5550 Meadowbrook Drive, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008, fax 847-378-0681. All requests must be received in writing. No requests for cancellations, substitutions or transfers will be taken over the phone.

The AANS reserves the right to cancel a course. Registrants will be notified by telephone and a formal letter of cancellation will follow in the mail. In the event of course cancellation, registration fees are refundable; however, airline and hotel penalties are the responsibility of the registrant.
