If your group or organization requires function space for hosting a meeting or social event during the 2018 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting in New Orleans, you are required to complete and submit the online Request for Function Space form, and submit it to the AANS Meeting Services Department for approval by Friday, Jan. 5, 2018. A request form will need to be submitted for each meeting or event your group, organization or company wants to schedule. Space will be assigned at the New Orleans Marriott, located at 555 Canal Street, on a first-come basis. Room assignments and further details will be confirmed at the end of February. Fees may apply. The New Orleans Marriott is less than a mile from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. When deciding on the timing of your function, please allow an average of 30-minutes travel time between the hotel and the convention center.
Ancillary meeting space is not available at the convention center. The AANS Meetings Department must approve all meetings held during the 2018 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting, even if it is held at an alternate hotel. Once approved, the group will be able to work directly with the hotel. Meeting space is available only at the venues and hotels where AANS has contracted space.
