Advertising & Marketing

The American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) offers a variety of advertising and support opportunities to deliver your message to neurosurgeons, residents, nurses, advanced practice providers, physician assistants and other neurosurgical professionals.

In addition to targeted publications, we are introducing several exciting new opportunities to help you promote your products and services and reach your marketing goals. Choose the channels below that best fit your promotional strategy for more information.

Digital Advertising

The AANS was the first national association to embrace the all-digital annual meeting, and continues to answer neurosurgical professionals’ call for digital content. Make sure your organization is listed where neurosurgeons are looking.

  • Banner Ads: There are several options available to fit your target demographics and budget. Each day, more neurosurgical professionals are turning to online-only resources such as Neurosurgical Focus and AANS Neurosurgeon. This is how to reach them.
  • E-mail and E-newsletters: Promote your message with a premium placement in one of AANS’ many electronic communications. Average open rates top 27 percent.
  • Meeting App Advertising: The AANS Annual Scientific Meeting is an all-digital meeting — that means attendees rely on the meeting app to keep up on everything from sessions to speakers to special events.

Print Advertising

The AANS continues to publish ads in the organization's official scientific journals: Journal of Neurosurgery, Journal of Neurosurgery: Spine and Journal of Neurosurgery: Pediatrics.

These journals deliver the latest clinical research monthly to more neurosurgeons around the world than any other neurosurgery publication. Receive total ad exposure when you advertise with neurosurgeons' first choice for clinical research in neurosurgery.

With 38 percent of readers completing ¾ to all of the Journal of Neurosurgery each month and 73 percent of readers reading ads, you can be certain your message is getting through.
