Important Information

Abstract Center
The Abstract Center will open January 5, 2008. The deadline for abstract submissions is November 30, 2008. No abstracts will be accepted after this date.

• Abstracts must be prepared in English.

• Abstracts previously submitted for publication or submitted, accepted or presented at other neurosurgical and/or medical meetings will not be accepted. If you plan to submit your abstract prior to selection notification or prior to the date of the meeting, you must disclose this information to the WFNS at the time of submission.

• Please ensure that your e-mail address is accurate at the time of submission. All correspondence will be sent via e-mail to the first author. Should the first author’s
e-mail address change after the submission deadline, please notify the meetings department at wfns2009@aans.org to update this information.

• All presenters of selected abstracts are required to register and pay the appropriate registration fees for the corresponding meeting.

• Please provide up to two categories for your abstract to be considered for continuing medical education and placement.

• Abstracts received by fax cannot be accepted.

• Abstracts will only be accepted electronically via the abstract submission site.

• Abstracts should be proofread prior to submission, as in many cases they are published as submitted.

• Abstract data cannot be altered after the abstract center has closed.

• Oral abstract presenters will be required to either upload their presentation or submit their presentation on a CD six hours prior to the start of the session in the Speaker Ready Room.

• The type of presentation (oral or poster) choice selected during the submission process is a request only. The accepted format is at the discretion of the Scientific Program Committee.
