Register Now for the NPA’s Full-day Registry Course in San Diego

The NPA is offering its second annual course, The NeuroPoint Alliance, Inc. (NPA) and Your Practice: Using Registries to Enhance Quality, Reimbursement, Certification and Clinical Research, on Sunday April 14, 2019, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. PT at the San Diego Convention Center.

The course will explore the varied uses of registry data for patient care, quality improvement, clinical research, education and revenue enhancement. The NPA’s Quality Outcomes Database (QOD) spine and neurovascular registries, the Registry for the Advancement of Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson’s Disease (RAD-PD) and the Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) registry will be used to demonstrate the value of participation.The course will benefit neurosurgeons, quality managers, clinicians and data coordinators and includes such topics as:

· Registries as a Quality Improvement Tool

· Registries for Maintenance of Certification

· How to Work with Other Specialties, Industry and Government Partners

· How to Improve Data Collection and Analysis

The course includes a panel discussion covering the design elements of the AANS SRS registry, which serves as an outstanding example of how clinical information systems, decision support systems and registries intersect, so that the field of neurosurgery can evolve patient care through sophisticated data collection and analyses. Representatives from participating centers will discuss their contributions to the registry’s design and how they have benefitted from its important features.
