This course will provide participants with an update on all facets of meningioma treatment from imaging, pathology, surgery to radiotherapy/radiosurgery. Surgical techniques will be summarized by each expert discussing selected meningioma locations with a 5 minute video followed by outcomes, complications and additional treatments. At the end of the session, 3 case examples will be presented for the group to select the most appropriate treatment in an anonymous written test format. Presentations and questionnaire results will be made available to participants after the meeting.

Learning Objectives: After completing this educational activity, participants should be able to:
  • Discuss clinical relevance of updates in meningioma pathology.
  • Discuss new MRI imaging techniques that may assist with pre-operative planning.
  • Discuss several nuances of surgical techniques/results for selected meningioma locations.
  • Discuss methods and results for radiotherapy/radiosurgery for meningiomas.
