This course is intended for neurosurgical residents considering a tumor career and fellows in tumor neurosurgery (glioma/mapping, skull base, endoscopy). It outlines the necessary knowledge base for a tumor neurosurgeon on day one of a new career; describes key milestones and transitions in starting a tumor neurosurgery career; and offers practical tips from tumor neurosurgeons in midcareer about “how they did it.”
