Begun in 1997 by Julius Goodman, MD, this course has become the premier neurosurgical oral board review course with over 90 percent of candidates attending at least once prior to taking the exam. This is a highly interactive course that simulates the examination given by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS).
Full course registrant must select the subspecialty that corresponds with ABNS focused practice selection. Each full course registrant will receive at least 4 subspecialty breakout and 2 general breakouts.

Requests for cancellation, substitution, or transfer of course registration must be received in writing prior to October 2, 2017, in order to receive a full refund less a $50 processing fee. Cancellations or transfers to another course will only be granted between October 2, 2017 and October 17, 2017, less a $100 processing fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations, substitution, or transfers after October 17, 2017. The AANS reserves the right to cancel a course. Registrants will be notified by telephone and a formal letter of cancellation will follow in the mail. In the event of course cancellation, registration fees are refundable. However, airline and hotel penalties are the responsibility of the registrant.
