Inaugural NeuroPoint Alliance Registry Course at the 2018 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting

The Board of Directors of the NeuroPoint Alliance (NPA) will host a full-day registry course on Sunday, April 29, 2018, in conjunction with the 2018 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting in New Orleans. The course will explore the many uses of registry data for patient care, quality improvement, clinical research, education and revenue enhancement. The course will feature NPA registries and studies, including the Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) registry and the Quality Outcomes Database (QOD) spine and neurovascular registries.

Course faculty include Robert Harbaugh, MD, FAANS; Anthony Asher, MD, FAANS; Kevin Cockroft, MD, FAANS; Kevin Foley, MD, FAANS; Regis Haid, MD, FAANS; Douglas Kondziolka, MD, FAANS; James McInerney, MD, FAANS; Praveen Mummaneni, MD, FAANS; and Jason Sheehan, MD, PhD, FAANS. The course will demonstrate the effective uses of registries in negotiating with payors, conducting research and enhancing quality of care through didactic and interactive sessions.

All clinical personnel, data coordinators, quality managers and medical students are welcome to attend. NPA is offering a discounted registration fee to all attendees from organizations that currently participate in an NPA registry. Contact the NPA offices at 847.378.0547 with any questions.
