Inaugural NeuroPoint Alliance Course in the Books, Next Course Planned for San Diego

The NeuroPoint Alliance (NPA) hosted its first course, The NeuroPoint Alliance and Your Practice: Using Registries to Enhance Quality, Reimbursement, Certification and Clinical Research during the 2018 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting in New Orleans. This course opened with didactic mini-sessions on NPA’s Quality Outcomes Database (QOD) and other registries and how these efforts can facilitate research, quality improvement, value-based care and more effective payer contract negotiations. The course continued with a panel discussion on the tactical aspects of clinical registries with several QOD data coordinators, followed by a networking lunch. Five simultaneous roundtable discussions, facilitated by NPA leaders, that focused on the varied uses of registries in practice concluded the session.

With so many places to be at the annual meeting, you may have missed out on this valuable course. However, it will be available for purchase soon through the AANS Online Education page for review and CME credit. Plans are in motion to provide another NPA Course at the 2019 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting in San Diego, so stay tuned.
