The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

The John C. Oakley Honor Your Mentor Fund, sponsored by the AANS/CNS Section on Pain, will be awarding $25,000 in 2019. The 16th Annual Neurosurgery Charity Softball Tournament, hosted by Columbia University, is planned for Saturday, June 8, 2019, in New York City's Central Park. Proceeds benefit the Andrew T. Parsa Honor Your Mentor fund for brain tumor research through the NREF.
The 2nd Annual Neurosurgery Charity Volleyball Tournament, hosted by UCLA, will take place Saturday, August 24, 2019, in Santa Monica, Calif. The day will include tournaments with different teams from the west coast. Proceeds from the games support research funding through the NREF.
