What if I have already booked by housing?

If you booked through OnPeak, your reservation will be cancelled. OnPeak will work on this over the next few weeks, and you will receive email confirmation of your cancellation once the process is complete.

If you booked outside of the AANS housing block, you will need to cancel your own reservation.

What happens with the abstract I submitted for the meeting?

You can update and resubmit your abstract within the abstract center until the new submission deadline, Feb. 16, 2021.

If you have no changes to your original submission, no further action is required.

Can I still submit an abstract?

You are invited to submit new abstracts until Feb. 16, 2021.

How does the AANS plan on managing social events and attendee safety?

The safety of attendees is AANS’ top priority. In partnership with the Vancouver Convention Center, AANS official hotels, social event venues and an onsite medical company, the AANS will ensure all rules and regulations put forth by the Ministry of Health of British Columbia are followed.
