Are recorded sessions available?

Presentations that are on demand are available until September 24, 2021. Sessions will no longer be available after that. On-demand CME must be claimed prior to September 24, 2021.

Is CME available for the virtual meeting?

Neurosurgeon Track

The AANS is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The AANS designates this other activity (live internet activity and enduring internet material) for a maximum of 44.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The AANS is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The AANS designates this other activity (live internet activity and enduring internet material) for a maximum of 30.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

How do I claim CME?

Log into MyAANS to self-report CME for the live virtual event.

How do I access the on-demand CME?

  1. Click here to visit the “My Courses” section of NeuroU.
  2. Log in with your MyAANS username and password.
  3. Select “#AANS2021 On-demand CME” at the bottom of your course list.
  4. Complete the evaluation and pass the posttest.
  5. Download the CME certificate. CME will automatically import to your AANS member record.

When is the next AANS Annual Scientific Meeting?

The AANS looks forward to hosting the 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting in Philadelphia, April 29-May 2, 2022. New in 2022, this meeting is a four-day weekend conference, taking place Friday-Monday, to provide the most education in the least time away from practice.

When will my refund be processed?

Refunds for the difference between live and virtual registration – or full refunds for those who cancelled by 12 pm ET on Aug. 19 – will begin processing after Sept. 27. Please note, that if your registration required multiple payments, multiple transactions will be made for the refund.

Once your refund has been processed, your credit card should reflect the refund transaction in approximately 14 business days.
