The health and well-being of meeting attendees, staff and vendors remains a top priority. The AANS has added new safety features to its Duty of Care commitment. With a close eye on the latest world and local conditions, new technologies and personal safety concerns, the AANS is prepared to make adjustments as necessary.
The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) is a Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accredited venue, and is taking heightened measures to provide a safe and comfortable experience for attendees. Read about the steps these venues are taking:
Attendees are required to abide by certain health and safety conduct guidelines while at the 2021 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting. This includes, but is not limited to, submitting to daily temperature checks, wearing a mask as all times in public areas and engaging in appropriate physical distancing. Do not attend the event if you are ill or have been recently exposed to COVID-19.
