Neurosurgery and Healthcare Reform
Items Concerning the World of Neurosurgery and Healthcare Reform
America's neurosurgeons strongly support improving our nation's health-care system; however, the AANS and CNS firmly believe that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) goes far beyond that which is necessary to fix what is broken with the current health-care system. Rather than enacting a carefully targeted set of reforms that would improve access to affordable health insurance and redress a number of deplorable insurance practices, the ACA vastly expands the federal government's role in health-care and fails to address significant problems with the current system. This page is dedicated to items concerning the world of neurosurgery and health-care reform.
