On June 30, CMS will publish Program Year 2024 Open Payments data. The Open Payments program collects and publicly reports information annually about payments that biopharmaceutical and medical device companies make to physicians and teaching hospitals for items such as travel, research, gifts, speaking fees, and meals.
The Open Payments Program Year 2024 records are available for pre-publication review and dispute through May 15. Neurosurgeons are encouraged to take the time to check their data for accuracy. Those who have not done so before must be registered in the Open Payments System before viewing the data. Visit the Registration for Covered Recipients page for instructions.
