Vote on Bylaws Amendments

August 3, 2020
The AANS Board of Directors approved the Proposed Bylaw Amendments for the American Association of Neurosurgeons (AAN) 501(c)(3) proposed by the AANS Bylaws Committee. These proposed amendments were sent to the voting membership for review and comment. These proposed amendments are now available to be voted on. Please read the material on the three links below:

2021 AANS Humanitarian Award Nominations due October 12, 2020

Members of the AANS are invited to submit nominations for the AANS Humanitarian Award by Oct. 12, 2020. The award will be presented at the 89th AANS Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held April 17-21, 2021, in Vancouver. The Humanitarian Award honors an AANS member whose activities outside the art and science of medicine greatly benefit humanity. Nominees may be international or domestic members. 2021 AANS Cushing Award Nominations due October 12, 2020

Members of the AANS are invited to submit nominations for the AANS Cushing Award for Technical Excellence and Innovation in Neurosurgery by Oct. 12, 2020. The award will be presented at the 89th AANS Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held April 17-21, 2021, in Vancouver. The Cushing Award honors an AANS member for technical prowess and skill and/or innovation in the development of new procedures that have become part of the arsenal neurosurgeons use to treat disease or trauma.
