Neurosurgeons Publish Op-Ed on Overlapping Surgeries and COVID-19

On April 1, The American Spectator published an op-ed titled “Overlapping Surgery: A Safe and Smart Way to Fix COVID-Related Backlogs,” authored by Richard Menger, MD, MPA, and Anthony M. DiGiorgio, DO, MHA. The piece highlights the opportunity to use overlapping surgery to assist with the backlog of neurosurgical cases due to COVID-19.
