This session focuses on topics pertinent to the provider actively involved in the care of the neurotrauma patient. Discussion will center on evidence-based practice in the post-injury treatment and rehabilitation of the patient with concussion, moderate to severe traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury.
- Discuss novel and emerging treatment, including drug trials in the treatment of severe traumatic brain and spinal cord injury.
- Discuss the importance of follow up care for both adult and pediatric patients who have sustained concussion injury. The need for a "concussion clinic", the key "players" involved and the role neurosurgery plays in the treatment of these patients will be addressed.

- Identify novel treatments in the rehabilitation of patients with traumatic brain and spinal cord injury.
