Congratulations to our AANS International Award Recipients
The American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) is delighted to recognize the achievements of colleagues around the world. The following are latest abstract award recipients.
2019 AANS Best International Abstract – Abdelsimar Tan Omar, MD, from the Philippines, who will present during Scientific Session VII: AANS/CSNS Socioeconomic at the 2019 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting.
2019 AANS International Travel Scholarship – Ashraf A. El Badry, MD, IFAANS, from Egypt, will present during the AANS/CNS Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves – Peripheral Nerves Section Session at the 2019 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting.
The following are the 2019 International Visiting Surgeon Fellowship recipients, who will also be in attendance at the 2019 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting:
Ayodeji Salman Yusuf, MD, is from Nigeria. He will visit Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, under the observation of Olawale A. R. Sulaiman, MD, PhD.
Yannick Canton Kessely, MD, is from Chad. He will visit the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis., under the observation of Robert J. Dempsey, MD, FAANS.
The 2020 International Visiting Surgeon Fellowship call for applications will go out in April.
