Further Your Neurosurgical Knowledge with the NREF

The NREF is dedicated to providing education to neurosurgeons at all stages of their careers through a variety of programs, including:

Resident Education CoursesThese free NREF courses, offered in cooperation with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), provide advanced training in topic areas not always covered within neurosurgical residency.

Approximately 16 weeks in advance of each course, program directors and coordinators are notified of course opportunities and are asked to nominate one resident/fellow and one alternate from their program, based upon specified course criteria.

Over 2,000 residents and fellows have attended an NREF course. Spaces are limited at the live courses, so several are available online, free of charge, to neurosurgical residents around the world.
