New Honor Your Mentor Fund Launches

Honor Your Mentor (HYM) Funds celebrate the distinguished luminaries of neurosurgery: those who inspire, teach, and mentor by giving generously of their time and talent.

We salute the following mentors with newly established funds:

• The Fred Gentili Honor Your Mentor Fund will recognize and honor a mentor in neurosurgery, in the area of skull base surgery, that provides engagement, guidance and support of learners. A mentor that fosters positive academic skills and behaviors. A mentor that provides compassionate leadership for the cultivation of competent, compassionate generations of neurosurgeons who deliver exceptional care to patients and their families.
  
• The Kevin Lillehei Honor Your Mentor Fund will support brain tumor research.
  
  
• The Nelson M. Oyesiku Honor Your Mentor Fund will support neurosurgical educational programs in underserved nations of the world.
