Applications for Dunsker Research Award Due Sept. 1
The Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves is accepting applications for a $15,000 grant opportunity that can be applied toward personnel, equipment, statistics and supplies. The Joint Spine Section Research Award supports impactful clinical research related to evaluating lumbar disc arthroplasty.
This research award provides a means of peer review for clinical research projects to help improve the quality of the proposal and, therefore, enhance competitiveness for future federal funding. This research award is meant to support research that may not have substantial preliminary data. Proposals are evaluated on the basis of scientific rigor, innovation, mentorship/environment and feasibility.
This award is made possible by the Stewart B. Dunsker Honor Your Mentor Fund through the Neurosurgery Research & Education Foundation (NREF). To support future research awards, please visit the NREF Stewart B. Dunsker Honor Your Mentor Fund page and make a donation.
