Neurosurgeons practicing and living outside of the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
- Reside/practice outside of North America
- Maintain board certification (or equivalent) in country of residence
- Submit letters of sponsorship from three neurosurgeons, at least one of which is a current AANS member (Note: The AANS can assist in identifying a member sponsor)
- Email proof of certification, in English
- Email version of your curriculum vitae (CV), in English
- International Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (IFAANS) honorific after five years of uninterrupted, paid membership

Pay Annual Dues:

Before beginning your member application, please have the following information ready:
- Dates of attendance and names of medical school and residency programs
- Country where you currently hold your medical license, the license number and effective dates
